A Great New Resource for Your Fix and Flip

It’s safe to say we Americans are slightly obsessed with the concept of the fix and flip house. Just take a quick glance at the lineup of shows on HGTV and DIY. You’ll see House Hunters Renovation, Rehab Addict, and Flip or Flop. My favorite is Fixer Upper, with the impossibly cute duo of Joanna and Chip Gaines.

How They Make it LOOK Easy

All of these shows – and more – make it look so easy. Okay, maybe not exactly easy…but certainly manageable. I’ll let you in on a secret: the stars of these shows have LOTS of experience flipping houses. Thanks to their experience, they can quickly scope a project and estimate costs and timelines. They can  effortlessly choose their remodel materials and transform a home.

How YOU Can Make it Easy

But what if you don’t have that kind of experience? What if you’re looking at doing your very first fix and flip? I have great news! I recently interviewed Sonya Hansen of Fixters.com, “the most complete and affordable house flipping system designed to teach you everything you need to know to start your business, find and finance properties, and renovate the right way.”

Click the image above to watch the interview, where Sonya explains what Fixters.com provides – education, software, coaching, and more, depending on your needs and budget. We also talk about the role of a real estate agent in helping real estate investors locate and purchase properties for fix and flips.

Do you have experience doing one or more fix and flips? What was the most rewarding part of it? Which part was the most challenging? Is there any advice you would give to first-timers? I’d love to hear from you – please leave a comment below.

I am available to help you locate fix and flip opportunities, and I am happy to share my own experience of doing 2 fix and flips personally and working with clients to sell 6 fix and flips so far. Reach out to me at jensellsco@comcast.net or 303-204-6494.
